Is the title just “Wicked” now or is it still “Wicked: Part One”?

I imagine it's still Part One and Part Two, they filmed both at once and probs finished both.

So.

This and Moana 2 are the same day.

Which moves.

Probably this. Disney always releases animated movie the day before Thanksgiving. My bet is it opts for another weekend in November.

Moana 2 won’t move. Regardless of how successful it ends up being for them, Thanksgiving weekend is always where they put their WDAS animation. Plus they already knew Wicked was there. Either Wicked moves or they duke it out.

I would recommend December 13. Similar pre-holiday slot that Wonka opened to successfully, and it'd likely only be going up against the animated LotR movie, which targets a pretty different audience. Karate Kid is probably moving.

Only real competition would be the following week with Mufasa/Sonic 3, but one of those is surely vacating. With the holidays, it'd still have a long run regardless.

This was originally supposed to open on Christmas Day before moving up, so wouldn't be surprised if they move back to what has traditionally been a great date for Broadway adaptations (Les Miserables, Into the Woods) unless The Color Purple face-planting after its first day has them spooked (though this should easily have much broader appeal being a fantasy based on famous IP than that ended up having).
