It's filmed in China, co-financed by CCTV and Jiaflix Enterprises and it is being distributed in China by China Film group or Huaxia.  

 

It's 100% getting a release there.

It's just people's own personal biases at work. TF4 will easily clear 1B, and almost certainly beat TF3 as well WW. TF has shown that quality literally does not matter when it comes to the amount of money made.

It's funny how, with China, I'd be disappointed in anything under $700m OS...That being said, I'm predicting, for now, around $850m OS.

I enjoy the TF movies as well, and find them quite entertaining. But I just meant that the TF movies get shit on critically and still make tons of money, so the people that don't like the movies shouldn't lowball them, because if nothing else is locked for 1B this year, TF is.

Michael Bay is not cut out to do comedy. Ironically his first feature is a comedy BAD BOYS. When he sticks to non-stop, hyper-action, he is at his most natural. When can Hollywood understand that and just unleash the Bay already?
