An ordinary LEGO minifigure, mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary MasterBuilder, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil LEGO tyrant from gluing the universe together.

US release date : February 7th

I'm not sure about its growth but I think it will surprise a lot of people, the potential is so huge.

I don't see it under $700m WW.

I would forecast :

-$500m OS

-$250m DOM

Why in the world would it do 500m OS? PLEASE explain.

Maybe 200m OS. If that.

Lego + A lot of fun + Batman + Star Wars + Superman...and so on...In a single movie?

How could it fail? Why can't you see its potential?

It has potential for a nice sum. But 500m? No way in hell.

I'm with Heretic there - 500mil seems like a stretch. People forget how much money that really is, and it's not that easy to achieve. 300-400mil would be a nice success (and of course spawn an immediate sequel, let's face it ...)

Even though I would like 500m os, I don't think it's likely. Even The Croods 420m os was already huge

More like 370-450m os/220-270 dom = 590-720 ww

I don't especially want to root against this movie but with 1 billion in the balance for Frozen I kinda need this to not take off (which it probably will). I'll say 170 Dom and 350 OS.

This just has the feel of a movie that is going to take off. There is definite buzz building and so many people I know can't wait for it to open.
