Lead is separated, supporting isn't. Though I certainly wouldn't consider American Hustle or The Wolf of Wall Street comedies (despite being hilarious [and I'm sure there's at least one other nominated that I haven't seen]) and you'll rarely see actual comedies like This is the End or The World's End in there.
