Imagine wanting this just so a movie can succeed.

Imagine being a statist that doesn't want to see the economy collapse.

water scenes from Aquaman look better/or just as good as Avatar's.

If this happens Jim has failed. We know Jim doesn't fail.

That'll be a disaster for Jim. I like AQ and want to watch it but comparing it with James Cameron's Avatar that will be insanity. Never forget Jim is building new technology for underwater scenes.

Glad to hear that, I hear psychiatrists make good money. You sure saved me plenty with that diagnosis - if it's at all meaningful.

It's strange to me that people seem to forget we're on a box office forum - who cares about the economy honestly? Avatar 2 making bank is all I genuinely care about.

I would imagine they would premiere the first teaser trailer for the film on December 18th next year, exactly ten years after the original film opened (and also to open in front of Episode IX, to a lesser extent).

At least, I think that would be the best case scenario.

If that’s the title then Cameron wasn’t kidding about the water scenes. Sounds like it could be crucial to the story.

Regardless of the title he isn't kidding about the water scenes!

New tech and a cast that can hold their breath for 5 minutes. Wouldn't be worth it for one 3 minute scene.

Its hilarious that this thread will reach 800+ pages before the marketing for the film has even begun. Even more hilarious is the fact that its mostly the same 3-5 people talking in circles how great Cameron is.
