Ball Lightning
If the other woman breaks out like it did in Australia expect a $40m weekend obviously that's very unlikely to happen.

MrPink
Nicki Minaj? I think she's in it. Didn't know about Beyonce. The Coolio is playing a prank on you, he's referencing a movie called Obsessed with Idris Elba, Beyonce, and Ali Larter. Pay no attention to his lies.

baumer
just because I enjoy the movie doesn't mean it's going to open huge. I have no idea how big the other woman will open I have literally seen no advertising for it here in Canada and I don't know what it's like in the States. But I hope it goes well
TLK
Box Office: 'Other Woman' Enjoys Strong Friday for $20 Million-Plus U.S. Debut Based on early Friday returns, the 20th Century Fox film is expected to gross $20 million-plus in its opening, a pleasing start and enough to topple blockbuster Captain America: The Winter Soldier from the top spot after winning for three consecutive weekends. From Luc Besson's EuropaCorp and Transfilm International, Brick Mansions is pacing to open in the $9 million-plus range. Relativity, which is releasing the action movie in the U.S., worked closely with Walker's team and family during the marketing process. The film, written by Besson, was a passion project for Walker, who died in November 2013 in a fiery crash while on break from shooting Fast & Furious 7. Costing $28 million to produce and set in a dystopian Detroit, Brick Mansions is an English-language remake of the French film Banlieue 13 and stars Walker as an undercover cop who teams with an ex-convict to save their city from destruction. David Belle reprises his role as the ex-convict. Horror film The Quiet Ones, from Lionsgate and Exclusive Media, hopes to gross $6 million to $8 million for the weekend, but could have trouble hitting that mark. The PG-13 release is tracking strongest among younger females and Hispanics. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/box-office-woman-enjoys-strong-699080
TalismanRing
Some early vague weekend numbers from Hollywood Reporter http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/box-office-woman-enjoys-strong-699080 Box Office: 'Other Woman' Enjoys Strong Friday for $20 Million-Plus U.S. Debut 4:12 PM PDT 4/25/2014 by Pamela McClintock Starved for female-skewing fare, women are flocking to see Nick Cassavetes' comedy The Other Woman, starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton as three women determined to expose a philandering husband. our editor recommends Box Office Preview: 'The Other Woman' Looks to Beat 'Brick Mansions,' 'Quiet Ones' Based on early Friday returns, the 20th Century Fox film is expected to gross $20 million-plus in its opening, a pleasing start and enough to topple blockbuster Captain America: The Winter Soldier from the top spot after winning for three consecutive weekends. The Other Woman is also prospering in Australia, where it opened last weekend opposite The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The female comedy debuted to $4.2 million for the weekend, compared to $5.2 million for Spider-Man 2, but pulled ahead of the superhero tentpole on Wednesday. It came in No. 1 Thursday and Friday as well. The Other Woman opens in an additional 28 foreign markets this weekend. The movie opens three months before Sex Tape, also starring Diaz, hits theaters. From a script by Melissa Stack, The Other Woman is about a woman (Diaz) who discovers her boyfriend is married. When she accidentally meets the wife (Mann), they become fast friends and, with the help of another girlfriend of the husband's, set out to get revenge. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Kinney also star. The movie cost $40 million to produce. Brick Mansions, the late Paul Walker's second-to-last film before Fast & Furious 7, and horror movie The Quiet Ones are looking at much more modest openings. Both films debuted Friday in North America. In honor of Walker's memory, Relativity and EuropaCorp have made a donation to Walker's charity, Reach Out WorldWide. Horror film The Quiet Ones, from Lionsgate and Exclusive Media, hopes to gross $6 million to $8 million for the weekend, but could have trouble hitting that mark. The PG-13 release is tracking strongest among younger females and Hispanics. Inspired by true events, Quiet Ones was directed by John Pogue and stars Jared Harris, Sam Claflin and Olivia Cooke. The movie, set in an estate outside of London, revolves around a university president and a team of students who conduct an experiment on a young girl with unspeakable secrets. Jandrew
The last 10 minutes of Captain Phillips >>>> And Tom Hanks' last 2 scenes >>>> This should've gotten the awards season hype and attention that Hustle kept getting. I won't call it underrated, but the Academy and others really overlooked this. 3rd time seeing it and it still packs an emotional punch. Greengrass FTW. He was robbed of a nom too.
