Didn't Pixar say they would be releasing 2 movies per year? Only see 1 in 2023.

And that 1st week of March doesn't seem plausible because of how close it is to Haunted Mansion. Maybe they meant 2 movies per year when we can?

Also. Why there's only 1 20th Century movie in 2023? Where's Searchlight? I mean c'mon. At least put untitled in schedule.

Is Disney doing anything for 20th Century in theaters at the moment? This company feels so not organized from the outside. Maybe that's just me.

I mean, there are untitled movies in 2022 still. Whatever. I guess.

A bit more transparency with release dates would be nice.

Even Marvel Studios with their shows. They announce a release date when the show is close to start marketing.

Maybe it's just because I'm so used to know what's coming far down the line is the reason why I'm here whining like a baby.

But all this uncertainty makes me a bit frustrated, ngl. As a Disney fan.

The thing that gets me about this controversy is that Disney is just a giant corporation at the end of the day. Most Americans support LGBT rights in a broad sense, so it makes sense that Disney is going to signal in that direction. It doesn't mean their super supportive, either, as we know they only do the bare minimum when it comes to pandering, but they're not going to take an anti-gay stance that's going to cost them money.

You'd think conservatives would understand that Disney is simply operating under the mindset of free market capitalism.

Conservatives don't actually care about how Disney operates. It's all really about the culture wars and finding their latest "boogeyman."

Besides, we all know that many Republicans are hypocrites who are almost as cozy with Hollywood as Democrats are. They just like to wail about the industry because said culture wars make it easy to do so, and because of their followers being gullible enough to buy into it.

BS. The fascist/Republic of Gilead wing seem to be in control of the GOP.

Wake up, buddy, and  face reality. One the two major parties in the US has gone de facto fascists.

Its' the American Taliban trying to force their beleifs down out throats that scares me. There is no fanatic like a religous fatnatic. You can't reason with them because they think God has told them what to do,.....

The 1st Amendment is a thing. If Florida takes action, this probably goes to SCOTUS. Government can't punish corporations or people for Free Speech

This will not end the way DeSantis thinks it will.

Blah blah blah, good luck going up against Disney and the army of lawyers they have on standby, Ron's Gone Wrong.

At this point it should be obvious to everyone that his zeroing in on going after Disney and stoking the culture war flames in general are mere distractions from the fact that too many people want to see him out of office in November and also because he (and most likely a whole bunch of other people who are close allies with the GOP) will likely find themselves swept up in the Gaetz saga, no matter how much they try and obstruct justice.

LOL, would you care to put a little wager on the results of DeSantis vs whoever wins the Dem primary?

DeSantis will win by at least 5 points, which is a landslide for FL.

I think it's more he has he eyes on the White House in 2024.

Franky, I have some problems with giving any compnay special legal privilages. But De Santis is taking them away for exactly the wrong reason.

And I have to laugh at his whole companies sholc not take part in politics position considering the amont of big money he has gotten....

Anybody with a brain knows absolutely nothing will come outta this. Desantis is smart he knows it would take years in courts for this to be resolved and thats if it makes it pass the lawyers. Its pretty much the same thing Trump did a year ago when he had that big press conference saying he was suing big tech and every conservative applauded knowing damn well it was performative and it would never even make it to high courts
