X3(which probably had bigger rush than this) did 5.9M midnights and 45M OD. I dont think DOFP will come close to that but X3 OD is still possible.

It didn't get 8PM shows like "Godzilla", "Spidey 2" or "Cap 2" so that's a good number. 

Quoted for accuracy. I'm one of those members a2k mentioned. 

Had XM:DOFP had a 7/8pm preview showing like Cap2 I'd have been there, my $12 towards this total. Alas, it wasn't. 

 

So an $8m+ preview haul w/start times at 10pm is indeed good. It's almost even with TASM2 which had those 3 extra hours.

i don't think wom kicked in as early as day 2 for x3. it usually never does.

The way word spreads these days...it'll be a factor by Sunday/Monday. Of course, if the series truly CANNOT break out wide into the GA, who are apathetic about this franchise, then no amount of good WOM will help it, as it will fall on deaf ears.
