It's only 8:30 on the West Coast, numbers could still rise up. It happened last week too, X-Men seemed to have very strong matinees numbers that lead to big projections (42M showed up at one point) but night business is a bit softer so the numbers usually hit the low end. This week looks to be the same case, as long as it hits 10M or above, that's fine.

Thank you RTH. Also Spatulashack's numbers show how hard its to extrapolate this early. Movies tend to do majority of business in the evening. next update close to midnight pst should be within 2%.
