It did 34 million from Monday to Wednesday. And it seems it has done 18 million just on Thursday. I would say it is an incredible number. In fact, it is 52 million during weekdays of this week. AUJ did 44 and DOS 40 in the same period.

 

I dunno if that's apples and apples. At least some of that Thursday gross will go into the weekend gross, i think.

You should make a comparison between TH3 and TH1 or TH2 on the NYD OS income.

Such statement like <feels like> or <should have> makes no sense.

The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies brought in $52.5m over the weekend from 65 markets to reach $502.1m.

 
WARNER BROS PICTURES INTERNATIONAL
 
The New Line-MGM fantasy finale scored the biggest Warner Bros launch of all time in Argentina on $2.1m (Ps 17.8m) from 300 screens to rank top and claim 54% of total market share.
 
It added $7.4m in Germany for $68.9m and stayed top for the fourth consecutive weekend and grossed $5.1m in the UK for $57.4m after four, where it has also stayed top for its entire run.
 
Five Armies added $5.2m in the second weekend in Australia for $19.6m, $3.9m in France for $42m after four and $2m for $17.1m in Spain where it has ranked number one for all three sessions.
 
Elsewhere Peter Jackson’s film added $1.5m for $16m in Italy after thre and $1.7m for $21.2m in South Korea after three. In a string of fourth weekends it added $1.4m for $27.5m in Russia, $1.4m for $16m in Mexico, $1.2m for $18m in Brazil and $919,000 for $10.8m in Japan.
 
The film is set to open in China on January 23.
