Jar Jar is not a ridiculous character. Jar Jar is a very poorly executed and hamfisted comic relief character. If they had toned down the accent and some antics by even just a little, he'd have been much better received.

We know you're smart, but calm your tits, please. Ridiculous is a fine word to use.

There is no point defending TPM (or AotC for that matter). It's trash through and through for anyone over 12.

Thank you, dads. Whether or not you wear a cape, you make a good hero. #HappyFathersDay

As long as your advice doesn't consist of saying maybe letting a bunch of kids drown would be the right thing to do if it meant saving your own ass and killing yourself via cyclone in front of your family as you up the paranoia levels .

Agreed, but I think for example the Two-Headed Podracing Announcer was ridiculous in both concept and execution, as opposed to Jar Jar which was just an execution foul-up of a big degree.

Also fuck yes 22 Jump Street did awesomely well.I'm a little bummed out by Dragon though. Should have at least gotten $60 million. That said, at least it's doing better than the other animated sequels recently.

Not really. Lower opening than Mad 2 and 3, Cars 2, and Ice Age 2
