This is what I'd expect from a studio that lets Dreamworks Animation slip through their hands into the competition's lap. Especially in a time where studio are competing over franchises and property rights.

 

Transformers was their last cash cow and they've milked it dry. What else do they have? Viacom is one step behind once again. But what else is new.

While I really don't give a damn about Paramount lying about its opening weekend gross (a studio being dishonest, how novel), $97 million would still put it on top of other film's 90 million openings this year. Plus it'll probably make over $100 million by the end of the day today anyway.
