I'll be somewhat shocked if Turtles isn't number 1 this weekend. I think $45M is the floor. Tons of kids want to see it. And, aside from Guardians, ain't much else out there for families/kids. Not to mention, I feel Turtles is more aimed at children. That said, I don't expect it to hurt Guardians much, if at all, this weekend.

Ballpark 7 day total=$135m

 

I'm going with a 55% drop, giving it $42m for it's 2nd weekend. While I hope that's enough for #1 I'm more interested in the sub 60% drop. 

 

10 day total for GotG=$177m domestic

I think it's obvious that TMNT won't flop since the brand is still quite popular. I agree that Guardians won't be hurt much by it domestically, but overseas it's a different story. I can see Turtles easily making $250m+ overseas.
