The Maze Runner OS Strong Run! 208M Cume!

Recommended Posts

The Maze Runner held on to first place at the overseas box office with $27.2 million. Without opening in any major markets, the movie still only fell 27 percent from last weekend. The movie's biggest holdover markets were South Korea ($5 million, down nine percent) and Australia ($2.7 million, down 18 percent). It's already Fox's third-highest-grossing movie all-time in Malaysia behind Avatar and X-Men: Days of Future Past. To date, The Maze Runner has earned $90.7 million overseas, and has openings in China, France, Germany, Italy and the U.K. coming up in October.

My Prediction for now comparing with other YA franchises and September releases

...
Israel  $   300.000

...

OS TOTAL - 150M (180M with China)

Yeah comparing those Portugal numbers to the Israel numbers looks wrong. Catching Fire and the Percy Films made more in Israel and the Harry Potter films made a little more in Portugal. Those numbers certainly don't point towards The Maze Runner making over 3 times as much in Portugal as he predicted.

300,000 would be really bad for The Maze Runner in Israel, less than both Percy Jackson films.

Told you, after its second weekend it has already made more than double your 300K prediction.
