Yeah, Runner Runner was such a break-out hit. Oh wait...

I don't think any of them are what you'd call general draws (like Cruise for example). Affleck has a better track record, but mainly because he chooses his roles carefully. RDJ is a draw for his franchises.

The Good Lie is Certified Fresh on RT, got an A+ Cinemascore and has a big recognizable star. Whoever handled its distribution should be fired. But this also shows Reese Witherspoon has lost her starpower.

She'll bounce back with Wild. Also, don't forget she produced Gone Girl.

It doesn't mean anything for Reese. The studio for some reason decided to completely dump on the market with no advertising. Hard for a movie to do well when hardly anyone knows it exists.

The movie is not about Reese s character, it s about poor africans trying to find ways to survive in difficult conditions, this is isn t Legally Blonde or Sweet Home Alabama. Studios are not stupid, they tested the film and´they know it would go nowhere with the GA.
