James
So did that director ever get work again? I don't see his name bandied about anymore. He's the director for Finding Dory. Disney seems to trust him.
Blankments
Well, that was a roller coaster to read through. Give me more. Dumb and Dumber To: #1 for the weekend
DAJK
I know it's still too early to say, but maybe now Interstellar could manage a sub-50% drop for the weekend. I don't think MockingJay opening to 130M as opposed to 150 will have much of an effect on Interstellar. I hope you're right though!
Walt Disney
Let's not forget Disneys "May 28th. The Motion Picture" Disney's marketing once they fired M.T. Carney as the head of marketing has been so much better. The M.T. Carney years don't reflect the state of Disney marketing of recent years.

iceroll
You really need a bookmark for Mini Cupcakes? I wonder what that is an euphemism for. Tho they're not really 'mini'.

#ED
I'm a little disappointed in MJ1's previews and all, but Emmanuel Sanders is back at practice fellas. (I still see at 65M+ OD today).

grim22
The title needs updating. The Wrap also says 17M, Kelli got coffee, and ED likes Mini Cupcakes.
ecstasy
He's the director for Finding Dory. Disney seems to trust him. Ah ok. So he's back to animation where he was very successful. So no more live action I guess.

You expect it to rebound nicely I assume then given CF managed a $71M OD with $25.25M from Thursday sneaks.
DAJK
It won't hurt. If the fans of MockingJay didn't come out to see MockingJay, are they going to come out to see IS instead? Or maybe are we talking about casual moviegoers...

iceroll
Iceroll! My man. LOL What's up? Back from sort-of hiatus to talk about this movie and run a BOF's Top TV shows thing. You should submit a list, link in my signature
Noctis
Just saw MJ1. B-/C+ Some really good scenes, but far too bloated. Just...ugh. Not unexpected. Lawrence, Moore, Banks, and Hutcherson (!) were all terrific. But as a story...god damn, this should have been one film.

I think the book was far too condensed, and that the movie gave some of the plot points and themes some breathing room.
