NYer4Life
The Penguins number is shockingly low. Oh how the tables have turned in animation. It is embarrassing to witness the downward spiral of Dreamworks over the last 2 years. Their animated box-office grosses are reaching late 1990's lows. I see Penguins struggling to hit much more than $100 million with that Wednesday number.
Heretic
MJ number isn't awful at all. I'd say its decent enough, hopefully it drops sub 20% today.

Fancyarcher
That Horrible Bosses 2 # is horrible. I thought a sequel to Horrible Bosses was completely unnecessary and apparently moviegoers agreed with me.
Aplandg
I wanted 16 for MJ1! Oh well, hopefully we get some decent holds this weekend. And those numbers are pretty awful for Horrible Bosses 2 and Penguins. Those pebbles really must have a poor exchange rate. I wonder when the boxoffice will rebound... My guess is February when 50 Shades of Grey is released.
redfirebird2008
I didn't even think it would get that in its entire run. After seeing it opening night, I felt under Prometheus was in play. WOM is pretty good overall and looks like it could reach 175.

baumer
Why is there so much vitriol and hatred towards some movies? Especially films you haven't seen. Fuck POM? I don't get it? Did that film steal your girlfriend and make fun of you in class or something?

Did that film steal your girlfriend and make fun of you in class or something? Nah. I just hate Madagascar movies. And I hate how DW would rather make garbage, when they have potential to make great movies.

CaptainJackSparrow
Madagascar 3 is horrible! I really hope DW doesn't waste any time in making a sequel after that mess. Unfortunately, they have already announced a fourth.
