It was one of the highest grossing movies of 2014, the second best reviewed wide release of 2014 on RT, and a massive home video seller. It has been saved. ;)

So the Critical, Audience, and Award Precursor darling couldn't even pull an animated nom. That makes it worse.

A visual representation of the 2015 Oscar nominations:

Bradley-Cooper-humping-Louis-CK-in-Ameri

Yeah for Whiplash

Lol big eyes, unbroken, selma

AMPAS doesn t deserve David Fincher, that s how brilliant he is.

Will streep fatique syndrom ever kick in among AMPAS ?

I am glad for Bradley Cooper, cool dude, great actor.

Most important Award of the night is the Apes/weta digital win for best VFX.

Sadly, Julianne Moore is gonna win for a tiny movie that will be very little seen. The subject matter itself is a problem.

Every time a biopic movie gets an oscar nomination, a kitten dies. Remember that.

Harvey Weinstein is loosing his mojo year after year or is it just me ?

Hard to say when he got tv directing into best director and whatever it is Knightley did for best supporting actress.

Wonder what the lack of nominations will mean for Big Eyes and Unbroken's box office runs from this point forward. American Sniper is now poised to break out in a big way thanks to the large number of nominations it got, Selma will probably hold up well over MLK weekend but not see the casual interest that a lot of nominations would have brought.
