2 reviews from Germany now. But still no details. 5.5/10 together, so probably one with 6/10 and one 5/10. Not what I hoped for <_<. Will update if I see some better news...
But 80% and 6.9/10 at the moment at RT is very ok.

No, but the director made a lot of people on here think it could be, y'know, genuinely good. Hell, even I was open to the idea after seeing the tone of the trailer.

I bet there were people who had similar thoughts with Jurassic World 1 with Colin Trevorrow coming off Safety Not Guaranteed.

I had no clue the embargo on this dropped lol

The embargo was today. I just forgot which time.

I bet if the international release schedule was the same as the domestic, the embargo would have dropped around that time instead of now.

The thing is, if people look at the Tomato score for this one all they want so see is probably a half-solid score. Everyone (should) know(s) that these films are dumb fun. Nobody expects them to rival Marvel/SW/Pixar in critical reception.

Well I figured the embargo for it was going to be around the international release lol I just had no clue there was an actual embargo drop for it lol

This reminds me of Apocalypse (not in terms of quality since I haven't seen it but in terms of review dropping) where the international release date caused the embargo to drop much much earlier than when it came out in North America.

For this movie's sake, they better hope it stays fresh unlike what happened with Apocalypse

If it's as walk-up heavy as the first one, I don't think the reviews will be much of a problem

last i checked fk's prod budget was 260 compared to jw's 150. even at 260 it's locked to make nearly 4x that globally.

(hold from JW in brackets)

Dom 375 (-42.5%)

China 250 (+9%)

OS-Ch 475 (-40%)

= 1100

I love reviews like these:

I did not think I could hate a Jurassic Park movie more than I hated the last (Jurassic World). But here we are. Trevorrow found away.

Not only gets the critic one fact wrong (JW is awesome and the best JP sequel), but three: Bayona is the director, not Trevorrow. And its not "away", its "a way". Get your grammar correct lmao. Omg, some critics honestly :Venom:

If you read the review, you’d see she acknowledges he isn’t the director, but he is one of the writers.

I give you (and her that). But still, that headline indicates for a reader that Trevorrow was most responsible for the movie. Which just isnt true.
