Love the stories of Pratt about his time in Hollywood when he was Anna Faris Bridesmaids and nobody gave a fuck about who he was and people were hitting on his wife in front of him and now those same dudes call him saying they are best buddies ...

Hollywood.

Jurassic WorldUpdate, 12:53PM: Jurassic World is currently estimating a $65M Friday, that’s inclusive of last night’s $18.5M ticket sales. If that number sticks into tonight, it will be the second best June opening day behind June 30, 2010’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse which minted $68.5M. This puts the Universal release on track for a $155M three-day bow, not only bigger than expected, but it will rank as the highest opening for the month,

I expect that number to go up slightly... Deadline tends to be below the actual number. Would love to see $70-72 million just to see Eclipse's record go down.

It think it will go up too, as I don't see JW making less through the day Friday than F7.

Just think TLW 3 day was 72 million back in 97 and people were astounded with the number.  Now this gets around that in one day.

Yes, because the early numbers for AoU were below what it actually came to.

Oh, wait...

Furious 7 was boosted by easter though

Kids are out of school now too.

F7's Thursday previews also benefited from Easter, as kids didn't have to go to school that day/the next day and many parents were off the next day yet JW made more.

Told yall for months now it had a decent shot at out opening F7. The hype has been huge for weeks. No idea why the predictions weren't higher in general.

Probably because we are weary of reboots. More often then not that dont deliver

Probably because there have been a lot of overpredictions recently, lowballing is safer.

It's early but if this holds up Universal will be making money but that's easy though considering that this was expected and since next weekend is Father's Day and not really a huge blockbuster until Ant-Man or Minions/Inside Out(family audiences) this would be doable to make over 250 million domestic is do better than Jurassic Park III in terms of attendance.
