I don't get it. I would not hesitate one second before I took a 5 year old to Jurassic World. It is no worse than any of the pg-13 movies that I saw at that age

This explains so much to me. :P

Yeah, but why couldn't a 5-7 year old deal with that?

I mean a kid could, but they might walk out of the theater worse for the wear. I hear 5-7 year old kids who deal with that with no trauma end up liking movies like The Fault In Our Stars, Transformers, etc.

Are you serious? You don't know why it could be inappropriate for a family film to portray child hanging?

Nolan should have directed JW. However, I don't think Universal would provide real dinosaurs at Nolan's request like WB would do.

I loved Jurassic World and like how JW's breaking record after record further rubbing salt in the wounds of all haters. Nothing makes me happier as a fan of both Jurassic Park and the Box Office.

They can only dream that their cute little favorite movies could hold a candle to JW (unless it's called Avatar or Titanic). There's no stopping the Jurassic juggernaut. One might say "who cares how much a movie makes at the box office if it sucks" but last time I checked this was a Box Office forum so suck on that, haters.

Did you take your meds this morning or take too much of them? LAWL Edited by GiantCALBears

Admittedly I have taken my cousin to see Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, which do have violence but it's far less graphic than what you see in JW. Blood splatter is an automatic red flag, imo.

Unsure if Bryce Dallas Howard would be an improved character under Nolan or not.
