Weekend Thread: Weekend Actuals: IO 29.77, JW 29.24, TG 27.02, | IO Wins Weekend!

Recommended Posts

Curious what the Sat/Sun breakdown is. I think Universal underestimated JW's Sun drop for once and it'll be closer tomorrow with IO than $800k.

All depends in the Saturday numbers. Based on what RTH posted, Disney is being more aggressive with IO's Sunday jump than Universal is with JP4. Neither of the big animated movies in 2009 jumped as much as Disney is projecting, while TF2 jumped more than JP4.

All depends in the Saturday numbers. Based on what RTH posted, Disney is being more aggressive with IO's Sunday jump than Universal is with JP4. Neither of the big animated movies in 2009 jumped as much as Disney is projecting, while TF2 jumped more than JP4.

Ice Age 3 jumped 16.5% on Sunday - 3.8% more than IO.

Anything less than 20% isn't an 'aggressive' jump tbh. But JW will still win the weekend

I said it was more aggressive for its genre than what Uni is projecting for JP4. Up jumped under 8% FWIW. Edited by redfirebird2008

So... do Mojo realize their mistake and fix it or does it just stay this way until actuals come in tomorrow?

Its going to stay until actuals.

Wow that site turned shit quickly

Nope. They just wait until actuals tomorrow to change the number, and claim it went down from studio estimates.

I think someone needs to take BOM out to the pasture.
