Nobody really knows because Devin Faracci convinced the Internet Superman caused the destruction in the movie when if people actually see the movie they see the only thing fucked up in the battle between him and Zod is a garage, a building and a satellite. So all reviews are about that. And they are all wrong.

 

Same with most stuff Bay does. I can't wait to read the nonsense in 13 Hours's reviews.

Deadpool is essentially the CBM version of crank (the Jason Statham film not the illegal narcotic) critics will not GET it but that is irrelevant I highly doubt the target demo is gonna give half a fuck about the reviews but this will have no effect on BO which is far more important if reviews were more important transformers age of extinction would not exist

But it's clear that in general Hollywood's elite snobs have declared war on CBMs reviews for them in general May be slanted for a while

Marvel Cinematic Universe = Childrens films done by television series directors.

DC = "Dark" films done by average directors

 

DC is probably better with some of the X-Men films being pretty good.

Also, I know that Cap 3 will be brilliant because James Gunn said so, and we know that Gunn is an unbiased party to this.

I don't think Evans was wooden at all. I think people are simply mistaking 'woodenness' for Cap simply being a very subdued, quiet character. That requires a subtleness to the performance that Evans gets fantastically. Just because he's not as extroverted or openly emotional as RDJ's Stark and Hemsworth's Thor doesn't mean he's a bad actor.

 

On the other hand, I do think Cavill in MoS was a bit bland, but I'd blame that more on the script and Snyder's direction really giving him nothing to work with. Cavill more than proved to me that he can be a very charming actor in Man from UNCLE, so I'm more inclined to blame outside factors.
