As much as I hate to admit it Luthor was 10x the villain Steppenwolf was. And I disliked this Luthor. Steppenwolf has like zero characterization.

I wouldnt be shocked if the decision was based on merchandise and licensing. Companies were promised and created a Superman with no facial hair for their products, and probably have something to take down WB if they didn’t deliver the Superman they were sold on.

Zack Snyder is a supreme geinus, and everything thing in his films is beyond criticism!

Seriously, of all the was wrong with BvS, the way they portrayed Luthor was perhaps the worst.

Oddly enough I don't give the main blame to Eisenberg;he was just giving the writers and directors what they wanted. I blame the Writer and the Director a lot more then Eisenberg who was just the hired help.
