I think Star Wars is acting like a Super Massive Blackhole but I may be wrong, it sure looks like it though.

However since the leaked photo issue Jlaw popularity has lessen.

 

Perhaps it was simply Jlaw hit a peak after the success of her Oscars and CF. 

 

 

But I don't her career is going higher at the current moment...just staying at a high level.

It's possible but clearly doesn't work to explain Spectre's opening two weeks ago agreed?

I don't think Joy's gonna do anywhere near as well as American Hustle or Silver Linings. 

 

I'm still amazed at how much money AH made considering what a lifeless, sorta boring movie it was.

The leaked photos had an effect on the hunger games box office? 

 

The films have lost a portion of the audience that are just happy to wait for it to reach their homes. They've come around too often to be considered the events they were. Nothing wrong with that. $100 million opening weekend is nothing to be sniffed at.

Well these are one of the most brutal & deadliest terrorists attacks in the history of the western world.

A wounded just died today in the hospital putting the death total to 130, almost 50 people are still in ICU, their bodies in ruins, fighting for their life.

It has been in the the news all over the world for a week.

With reviews saying the movie is grim & dark, yep, timing is not in favor of Katniss at all.

Honestly, that point is probably a career highlight. How many actors reach those achievements, let alone around the same time? For better or worse, she's probably settled with the Wellesian Flu (where you peak so early the rest of your strong and interesting character is seen as a slump of sorts).

I can explain that. it also correlates to real life events. no one wanted to see a movie featuring a rich maniac leading an evil organisation determined to destroy the free world while Trump is leading the GOP polls.

Spectre & MJ2 both quality wise seem to be solid/meh from the majority but I don't think that's the only issue. The timing of the releases seems to be correlated meanwhile SW is breaking every presale record in existence.

I don't think any other actress in the history of Hollywood had a year  like Jlaw had in 2013, there is no way up after this.

Oscar+ Number One Movie of the Year, that s a mean & memorable combo.

Yet the movie couldn't carry anymore resonance than it does right now.
