They're rare, yes, but with how weak Best Actress is this year, it's not inconceivable that Harvey Weinstein could have gotten both actresses nominated if he'd campaigned Mara in lead. Her performance in The Dressmaker is probably my fave female performance of the year, and the film is exceptional too. She's great in A Little Chaos as well.
