Impact
Braveheart and Lambs were the only 2 BP winners in the 90s not to win best drama or best musical/comedy (Braveheart was not even nominated)
somebody85
So both Spotlight and The Big Short pretty much got robbed tonight.

WrathOfHan
The Globes rarely give the BP winner nothing, it was only a trend last decade. Man, this really is a weird year.

Dementeleus
Eh, I guess this weekend shows we're all just living in an Onion universe now.
MovieMan89
Still think TBS cleans up at the Oscars. I can totally see why the HFP wouldn't go for it as much to be honest.
Impact
Wow-the last BP winner to not win a single Globe before Crash was....are you guys ready? The Godfather Part 2!
MikeQ
Spotlight and The Big Short didn't win anything tonight, and I had them as the frontrunners heading into this awards season... Peace, Mike
Kevin Bacon
So I guess I missed something so when did everybody start hating the shit out of Leo? Never seen this much vitriol spit at one of his movies before, especially one that's racking up awards (though I haven't seen the movie so maybe it sucks or he sleepwalked through it and that's why). somebody85
I don't get how Steve Carrell lost best actor, he was amazing in The Big Short. Christian Bale could have been listed as a supporting actor. Matt Damon was amazing too but The Martian is not a comedy and he kind of played an extremely likeable version of himself. He should have been in the drama category.
