The Stingray
Insidious was pretty entertaining. Are the sequels of the same caliber?

Jake Gittes
The second one is weaker but watchable.
CaptainJackSparrow
Watch 3 for sure, it's a fun time. Much better than 2.

The first Insidious is a CLASSIC, but, no, the sequels are not even half as good, I2 has some good moments, but there's just too much humour, especially in the final act, it killed the movie
Krissykins
I hate Insidious, liked Insidious 2 and the 3rd was forgettable. Going to see The Boy tonight. Hoping for mindless jumpy fun.

The Stingray
Watched The Invitation, a pretty suspenseful slowburn thriller. 8/10 Edited April 9, 2016 by The Stingray
SchumacherFTW
Green Room is the only horror in actively anticipating at the moment. I mean, PATRICK FREAKING STEWART IS IN IT!

It's wasn't pretty suspenseful, it was pretty damn awesome. I love it when a film comes out of nowhere and surprises you like this one does.

I love it when a film comes out of nowhere and surprises you like this one does. It's been on my radar for over a year and I had high expectations for it. It mostly delivered on them. Actually the more I think about it the more I feel I might have shortchanged it. Spoiler I wasn't a fan of the ending, which I felt was a bit anticlimactic and predictable. I'd say it's on par with 10CL, which I also gave a 7.5. In retrospect, I guess I could be a bit more generous and give 'em both an 8, because it is always refreshing to see horror films that rely on atmosphere and tension instead of easy jump scares. Taylor
Watch Hush on Netflix. It's a fun home invasion movie (directed by Mike Flanagan) that throws in a few new twists to the genre. Dug it a lot.
Krissykins
I really enjoyed Hush! Very tense and quite unique with the main girl. I didn't like The Witch or The Boy.

I thought the last 10 minutes were quite effective but the dialogue and acting ruined it for me, it failed to build the suspense needed for the ending. The actor who played the little boy was fantastic though.
Boxofficerules
I wish Hush got a wide release, so much better than most that do.

The girl stole the movie, IMO
Mockingjay Raphael
TC2 is making weak numbers at Twitter so far, way lower than the ones of the first movie, I'm starting to wonder if this will be so big as we thought

Moving away from The Conjuring 2 is wise. Its the week after The Strangers 2 now. Which we know won't open because A it's relativity media and B it hasn't been filmed yet.
