Oh boy could you imagine a line of people dressed up as furries to see this like people dress up for Star Wars or Harry Potter?

Imagine being a parent and having to explain that to their kids lol (and I have no problem with furries).

November 2017 - when fans dressed up like Thor will be confronted by Bronies at the movie theater for preview showings on Thursday.

This is gonna be Summer 2013 all over again

Civil War, Finding Dory and Suicide Squad only guaranteed hits I see. X-Men, TMNT and Bourne probably gonna do fine too. Everything else is a potential bomb alert

Sounds like many days of fun discussions here.

Oh no, seriously there is a MLP movie coming out? hahahaha that is going to be so awkward in so many places.

I guarantee the media tries to push that as progressive though.

The whole summer is a mess, so many wide releases. Studios drunk with dreams of breakout hits

It really is like the 60s again, but with huge action movies instead of long-ass musicals and Biblical epics.

The May 13th weekend is hilarious. CW will win the weekend for sure, but the sheer volume of releases scheduled is crazy

The Darkness
Horror
High Top Releasing Wide
Free State of Jones
Historical Drama
STX Entertainment Wide
Kidnap (2015)
Thriller
Relativity Wide
Money Monster
Drama / Thriller
Sony / Columbia Wide
Snowden
Thriller
Open Road Films Wide

Each of these will most likely do around 10-15M (Darkness might do higher as it is horror) but this is just crazy.

The one movie that I actually see being a breakout hit in June is Central Intelligence, good concept, great lead pair, won't be shocked to see The Rock get another franchise under his belt. I actually think Jason Bourne may move to the weekend after Independence Day, even if Bourne opens big, it gets direct competition from Suicide Squad a week later, opening on July 8th would work much better for it.

Summer is nuts. Captain America 3, Angry Birds, Neighbors 2, Alice 2, X-Men 5(? 8? 9?), Turtles 2, Now You See Me 2, Warcraft, Conjuring 2, CIA, Finding Dory, ID4 2, BFG, Tarzan, Purge 3, Secret Life of Pets, Ghostbusters 3, Ice Age 5, Star Trek 3, Bourne 5, Suicide Squad... gonna be so many bombs and will be hard for anything at all to break out.

Wouldn't call Warcraft a big movie, and the June release means it can bomb in peace without all the attention

Well, big in terms of budget.

I don't get how furry sex works. I think we need to discuss this in the chat.

I gotta be honest I feel like at least 50% of furries are just people who hate their partners but know they can't do better. So make them cover themselves head-to-toe for sex so they don't have to look at them

I decided to re-watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine before I watch Deadpool tomorrow.

Just like Wolverine, and really the whole X-men movie continuity, forgot about the movie, I forgot how problematic it was. I'm not sure what Gavin Hood was thinking as he directed those action scenes. Terrible cinematography.

None of those movies will open over 10M.
