This is R, not PG-13. Wonder if the box office will be impacted or not.

Office Christmas Party
Comedy
Par. 12/9/16 R crude sexual content and language throughout, drug use and graphic nudity

This was going to be R from the moment it was announced.  Not surprised at all.

Will do better as R than PG-13 IMO. The trailers never gave the impression it was anything other than R-rated.

I'm a bit surprised that they didn't release a red-band trailer for this.

I almost wonder, especially with being rated so late, if they would try to push for a PG-13, but I don't know, that looks like a pretty hard R rating.

Paramount almost always rates movies like two weeks from release.

Definitely will be impacted IMO; thought this would be a comedy older adults might check out with its cast; probably not anymore

i extremely thought it. this was never made just for older adults just because of it's cast...it was made for both Young & Older Adults for both the cast & the plot

I'll probably see this just for the cast but it does look largely unfunny.

Really - I thought it looked funny along with all my twenty-something kids & nephews - they all want to see it.  I crack up every time that guy swings thru the air & hits that cabinet or whatever it is.

HOHW still hasn't opened? DAFUQ? It's already out on Blu-Ray here

No, they are probably waiting for the Golden Globe nominations which happen to be on that day.

Currently sitting on RT with a 42% with a 5.2 average rating. I still plan on seeing it but I was really thinking this would be better. Hoping the meter rebounds.

Based on the marketing, I thought this had the chance to be like the first Hangover quality wise. Alas looks more to be like a hangover sequel.
