And when most of the others are people who actively disliked the movie, some even before seeing it. Makes you realize how reductive the comments in here have been and how insane I was for reading them all.

Dude , I loved the movie but that doesn't mean I will harass anyone who did not like it.It's all about taste, people have different tastes. Not everyone who just hates on this movie is hater. Just let it rest.Enjoy yourself :)

I've had a really great Saturday today. Finally , I have my dream DC comic movie and no one can take that away from me.I'm in love!

Much better OD number, should hit 165M maybe even 170M. 360-370M finish and 1B+ WW.

If it hits 165 OW, I think it goes a bit above that, domestically at least.

I'm just spitballing numbers, but these don't seem too unreasonable to me:

OW $165,000,000 $165,000,000
weekdays $45,000,000 $210,000,000
-60.00% $66,000,000 $276,000,000
weekdays $22,000,000 $298,000,000
-52.00% $31,680,000 $329,680,000
weekdays $11,000,000 $340,680,000
-45.00% $17,424,000 $358,104,000
weekdays $6,500,000 $364,604,000
-59.00% $7,143,840 $371,747,840
weekdays $3,250,000 $374,997,840
-44.00% $4,000,550 $378,998,390
weekdays $1,800,000 $380,798,390

weekdays $1,000,000 $384,038,699

And to think, we still have CIVIL WAR to go, though, I do expect that thread not to be as bad as this one, much less the reviews...

I am guessing there are sell-outs in your area. You didn't tell us there were none so we assumed everything was sold out.

I know we're talking about huge numbers here, but I refuse to believe this is what WB and DC had in mind when this project was announced. They were expecting weekend and total gross numbers closer to The Avengers and Jurassic World, and they're lying if they say any different. I think with reviews and audience (not fanboy) reactions akin to your standard above average Marvel movie, this would have got there. Meaning, by making a critically unsuccessful movie, Snyder lost around $40 million on opening weekend and god knows how much on total gross.

But this isny

Forget it. Nothing is workinG on my phone today

Lol, I wasn't attacking anybody. As you can see I'm not up there and I loved the movie. That's my whole point. Most of those people disliked the movie and they made sure they repeated that at least 100 times. That's not voicing an opinion, that's showing your opinion down everyone's throat. It is sad actually.

60% drop would be pretty good for 2nd weekend, I'm expecting 65%+.

I am good with 82m. Considering that it will be weeks before I can see the film (if not on blu) I will have to enjoy the big numbers it will put up. That being said, anyone expecting it to stay flat or slightly increase from the True Friday number or crazy and ignoring how this time of year works. 48-51m sounds about right for today.

I am actually a tad disappointed with Zootopia. It's the first day of its run that it actually came under my prediction as I was expecting it to be closer to 10m and uo 150%. BvS must have taken more kiddos than I figured it would.

Awesome hold for Deadpool.

Oh one last note. This Saturday plays the same way EVERY damn year so if yall start griping about the film's all falling on Saturday instead of increasing it's your own fault for not following the trends. There is a reason that Friday makes up a higher percentage of the grosses for this weekend and that's not being a hater.

One must wonder........

How much will the OD be for Captain America 3? Will it be higher than BvS....due to having more hype and BvS not being very well-recieved? Or a bit lower?

Maybe....Chris Evans, is slowly but surely becoming a reliable box office draw. :) Maybe.

I highly doubt it as Batman Vs Superman has far more intense buzz and opened on Good Friday.

Likely be about min 10-12 million lower at least or more I think.

If that film has a massive opening weekend it would be driven by a Saturday gross more.

We haven't seen any reviews yet for Civil War so who knows. They might be bad.

I doubt it. They have all the critics on their payroll. Didn't you hear?
