The race for Passion is going to be close.

Just put Ryan Reynolds in the Deadpool suit and have him make a few more videos about how the guy in the red suit needs to beat Jesus. Upload them to social media and bam. It should work

Fast 7 legs: 408 million

IM3 Legs: 399 million

Spiderman 3 legs: 378 Million

Of course if estimates change by 2 million either way things get interesting.

IM3 legs means it will get fudged

WB might just fudge it enough to keep it as the biggest WB opener in history. It can drop 0.9M from estimates and still be the biggest WB OW in history.

No, thanks to that damn BVS for stealing some of it's audience. :D But ending it's run at $360M+ is not bad at all.

It will be one of the best box office performances by year end.

I actually hope it will increase on Saturday and come at 171-172m or so:lol:

I don't think WB's projected drops are so extreme that we should automatically assume a bunch of fudging. They seem fairly reasonable (though perhaps that Sunday % is slightly optimistic).

Exactly

65M (62% drop) is the floor for next weekend IMO, and that's only if the WOM is really toxic. God's Not Dead and I Saw the Light are in no way, shape, or form competition even though the former will do good numbers.

The previews were so high in proportion to the w/e that I could see it dropping up to 65%.

SM 3 dropped 61.5% with no competition and it's preview numbers were $10m. So it made $141.1m Fri-Sun, about what BvS made and it's second w/e was $58.17m

Lmao ahahahah that Sunday drop. Nice try WB lol.

Maybe i missed something but i did some quick checking and most movies that weren't aimed at a young audience had a better sunday hold on Easter 2015 than the week before. So where is this coming from that movies drop harder on Easter Sunday?

This is not having SM3 WOM. C'mon! 400m will happen.

Miller is too old, and more importantly, too good for this shit.

What's so much richer about the Mad Max world than Batman and Superman?

It's a bunch of crazed pasty hillbillies killing each other in the desert...with monster trucks.

Superman and Batman have literally hundreds of stories and quite a few of those stories are better than anything you'll find in a Mad Max movie.
