Guys it's a really strong possibility that 12 Angry Men is going to make our top ten.  I can't tell you how happy this makes me.

It made it to 8th on our last list. Here's hoping it can crack the top 5.

It's probably too late to influence people's lists at all, but I just discovered that the amazing documentary VISIONS OF LIGHT is on YouTube in a quasi-legal form. (The original doc is basically a educational tool that was produced by AFI). It's about the history of cinematography, and it's a visual goldmine for all sorts of stunning shots, which lead to a list of new movies to watch. :)

Incredible. Watching this right now

@Telemachos chariots of fire and under the skin = awesomeness

Under the Skin nearly made my top 100. I think it was 110 :P

A really divisive movie, I enjoyed it for what it was.

It made the top ten on the 2014 edition of the list (which I went back and re-read not too long ago)

The only annoying thing about it is the guy who replaced the clips with HD versions ruined the editing of the actual documentary by dropping the interview bites into picture-in-picture windows. It makes the whole thing more fractured, and it doesn't really flow as well. On the plus side you get a bit more source material, though it feels more haphazard because of it.

Under the Skin and The Guest were the only 2010s that made my list. I decided not to include any recent movies I had only seen once, so that meant no Beasts of the Southern Wild, Boyhood, Fury Road or Gravity.

Also realized just now that I forgot about Kill List. :(

If people want to try and sneak in a film or two in the roughly 9 hours before the deadline, here are some recommendations of classic 1960s/70s thrillers (some of which made my list, others came close) to check out

I'm very impatient, and I don't like being teased. Besides, it's not like AFI split its list into multiple days, so why should we?
