The movie is way too niche and if you ask me, doesn't look all that compelling either. Reviews would have had to remain stellar for this to make any sort of dent.

They made that prediction early in the week. Around Tuesday I think.

Now that spring holidays are over the Friday and Sat bumps will change.

F7 went from +129% spring Friday to +185.4% the following Friday.

It went from +35% spring Saturday to +55% the following Saturday.

 

For BVS I expect +135% on Friday (up from +94% last Friday) and +60-65% Saturday (up from +49% last Sat) followed by -35-40% Sunday.

That would give 6.35 + 10.15-10.5 + 6.0-6.8 = 22.6-23.6m (down 54-56%)

I love how there's a lot of low key hope that BvS continues to tumble. I'm more or less indifferent but until Jungle Book, my view on the box office is more "what happens happens I guess."

2. The Boss, $20 - 23 million 

3. Zootopia, -17% $16 million (first time it's been out of the Top 2 in its 6 weeks of release)

The Boss should still make solid numbers. No surpise on Hardcore Henry R-rated action flicks are a mixed bag in the spring box office,and considering its small budget the film could still be a small profit.
