Technically The Incredible Hulk is the lowest grossing film domestic and overseas. But Captain America :The First Avenger was released a week after Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2, and held out quite well in the long run. The sequel came out in the spring managed to make solid numbers for a film being released in April. So Civil War turning into Iron Man 3(possibly outgrossing it) is quite an exception.

Very good midnight previews. Civil War's opening weekend numbers are looking strong.

Um 25 million previews means  180 is near the floor of the potential weekend then the likely range.

 

The likely range is still likely around ultron.

Even if this misses the 200 m OW and AOU OW milestone, the biggest milestone is 500 m DOM.

 

No one can be disappointed in 500 m DOM.

50% bigger OW than CA2's 95m would have been 142.5m. 140-150m was big enough to impress me a couple of months back.

Not till that epic trailer with Spiderman debuted did I go 150-160m.

Then with increasing positive buzz and great reviews, 170-180m.

Right now 180-190m could happen though I feel ~180m is realistic.
