I take days off for recovery. Don't have the cash to take a proper holiday, so I use the odd day usually to do midnights. I need to remember to vote on that, don't wanna leave.

 Not to mention bigger names (Crowe was a box office draw for like five minutes in the 2000s, but Roberts' clout ruled the nineties and half of the 2000s, Foster has been a star since she was a child, and Clooney has been a household name since his TV days). Their combined clout has seen better days, but they are still bigger names than Crowe and Gosling.

At least 8.7M is better than 7.6M. Nothing really to comment on here; I don't think Neighbors will have phenomenal WOM or anything, but 65M should happen from a 25M weekend.

Both of next weekend's releases are going to underperform.

We're two weeks out from TMNT and there's no hype. Me Before You should do well on that weekend and Popstar is going to bomb.

On June 10 The Conjuring should do at least 40M because the market is starved for a new horror movie; The Darkness and Green Room went under the radar and the last horror movie before them was The Witch all the way back at the end of February (or March 11 if you want to count Cloverfield). Warcraft will bomb and NYSM2 is yet another unnecessary sequel.

I am not going to take a real holiday either, but I'd prefer to use my annual leave to take a week off work regardless.
