CelestialFairyIX
Disney could possibly post another trifecta with Star Wars Episode 8, Beauty and the Beast, and Guardians of the Galaxy taking the No.1, No.2, and No.3 spots respectively.

That could happen, but Universal has 2 huge juggernauts in Fast 8 and DM3. I think either one or both of those will likely break into the top 3, behind Star Wars. Edit: I'm talking worldwide, domestically it's very likely Disney will take the top 3. Edited December 29, 2016 by m3racer123

Eric Quinn
http://www.fandango.com/movie-photos/30-most-anticipated-movies-of-2017-1316 Fandango's doing something different, and now has a top 30 most anticipated movies instead of a top 10. Of course, it's very important to understand that these lists should be taken with a pinch of salt (Zoolander 2 was like #9 last year), but it's still an interesting list regardless. 1. Episode 8 2. Guardians 2 3. Beauty and the Beast 4. Wonder Woman 5. Spider-Man: Homecoming 6. Justice League 7. Fate of the Furious 8. Fifty Shades Darker 9. Logan 10. Despicable Me 3 11. Lego Batman Movie 12. Thor: Ragnarok 13. Pirates 5 14. Blade Runner 2049 15. Cars 3 16. John Wick: Chapter 2 17. War for the Planet of the Apes 18. The Dark Tower 19. Pitch Perfect 3 20. Alien: Covenant 21. Jumanji 22. Kong: Skull Island 23. Transformers: The Last Knight 24. Dunkirk 25. The Mummy 26. Baywatch 27. T2: Trainspotting 28. xXx: The Return of Xander Cage 29. Snatched 30. John Wick: Chapter 2 John Wick: Chapter 2 has hype for its release, so that is a positive sign for Lionsgate. However, what is worrisome for them is that Power Rangers isn't even in the Top 30 list, and its release is less than 3 months away.

The Great Wall Kong Skull Island is lower than i was anticipating, and its coming out in less than three months. Power Rangers is not even on the list, that looks like a bad sign. Meanwhile, Transformers has really lost it's mojo domestically. Edited December 30, 2016 by babz06
Morieris
Honestly I'm surprised Kong is even on this list, even if it is low. But I guess this list is every blockbuster of 2017. Work your advertising magic, WB.

MCKillswitch123
I do believe there's a chance that Disney gets the trifecta of Star Wars, GOTG and BATB next year, BUUUUT there are a lot of outliers that could take away the glory.... nevertheless, Disney's 2017 certainly will be big... just not as big as their 2016. Now their 2018, on the other hand... I mean... Infinity War, Mulan, Han Solo, Incredibles 2, Gigantic, Mary Poppins, A Wrinkle In Time, Black Panther, Wreck It Ralph 2, Ant-Man 2, possibly The Jungle Book 2.... biggest year ever for any studio incoming.
