The scale is skewed positive, and even the creators of Cinemascore have indicated as such. A "B+" is considered average. Therefore, an "A-" or above is a predominantly positive reaction (a green light) and a "B" or below is a predominantly negative reaction (a yellow light), with a "C" or below being a warning to stay away at all costs (a red light).

How could it possibly be any more flawed than online user reviews, where you don't even need to see the movie in order to rate it? Even if the sample they take isn't truly representative of the target audience's taste (something on which I can render no judgment positive or negative, not having access to the relevant information), an opinion from someone who saw it is inherently superior to an opinion from one who hasn't.

The amount of people who vote on Flixter who haven't seen it is rather small.  It's not perfect, in fact I ignore it and go with the RT meter.  But still, this is the first time I've seen somebody say they use CinemaScore to determine if they should go see a movie or not.

I'm going to watch Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping today.

So so excited.

I actually want to see it, but nobody wants to go with me.  Even if I offer to pay.

I seen it last night and thought it was pretty funny. However I really enjoy Lonely Island's humor though and can see how some people may have some issues with it.

I feel like I'm in the same boat with Me Before You

then again, I'm sure I could ask a slew of girls who would go, I'm just too shy to ask :/

Maybe try to get a group to go.  Like 5 girls and you be the one guy.  Maybe also invite one couple with the group to make the other 4 girls feel lonely and look at the only other available guy for the attention

Next weekend is going to be legendary.

Dem attempts to damage control by bringing an extremely low tracking estimate, so that fans are satisfied when it does about 5-10M despite the fact that it's still a shitty number

Think both Dory and Intelligence will disappoint.

Resurgence to be as it says.

hopefully free state of jones can do better than the nice guys and money monster. Can't believe how poor their legs have been.

It'd be great if we could have one year where every film released is a hit.  It's a shame that'll never happen.  I'd love to see really obscure movies become big hits.

2017: XxX 3 makes $100 million domestic in January. John Wick 2 does 70 million domestic, Lego Batman makes $300 million domestic, The Dark Tower performs a World War Z leveled hit, Fifty Shades Darker barely does $100 million. March has R-rated Wolverine which does well but not as well as Deadpool makes about between $175-$185 million domestic. Fast 8 makes $300 million domestic and does $1 billion worldwide. Ghost In The Shell does $200 million domestic. Guardians 2 does $350 million domestic and does $900 million worldwide. Barbie makes $125 million domestic and does $300 million worldwide. Baywatch does San Andreas numbers, Annabelle 2 does better than its predcessors, Pirates 5 saves Depp's box office life. Bad Boys 3 does $115 million domestic, Wonder Woman proves that audiences like female action leads and makes $320 million domestic. The rest are questionable but these are all wild crazy dreams projections.

Warcraft could be at 0% and Id go see it.  It was either going to be a pleasant surprise or a guilty pleasure.  Just seeing the world live action brings back memories of the games for me, whether it's quality or not.
