Twilight has all those same themes.... @fastclock

Possibly, I did not watch Twilight.

I just extracted the values from the movie I was watching with my kids.

Dory was fine overall - I got that it was not the most exciting film too.

Btw, I was not contemplating hard or had to think very hard about those points. I could recall them easily.

I don't actually ask for most films to be thought provoking. They just have to relate to me on a personal level. It also helps when they're entertaining. Pixar usually does both of these, and has thought-provoking themes, from time to time, without feeling the need to be all over it. It's why I'm a big fan of them.

Yeah, now that I have a child I am actually more attracted to woman that have a child somehow.

Can't explain why, can't explain how, but that's how it is baby.

Oh you can fuck a fish. Just stop paying to see a stupid cartoon.

It's ironic though how a "stupid cartoon" has the obvious, simple answer to your hate of Pixar:

If Pixar has deep themes, then so does Twilight and Transformers.  Not kidding.

An argument can be made that any remotely competent story has deep themes. It really just comes down to execution of said themes.

Oooooo girl you sound pressed.

Remember, the opposite of love is not hate. It's indifference.

Any Warcraft Wednesday numbers RTH, Gopher, and nilephelan?

As somebody lucky enough to be RTH for a month or two, cranking calculations takes so damn long they're not worth it for stuff that probably made ~700k.

It does...so do a lot of horror movies.....but for some reason you put those same themes in a Pixar Cartoon and everyone praises them for their deep and resonating themes.

Again, the reason folks find that Pixar's themes resonate more is because said folks believe the characters in said movies resonate more. The same folks believe the themes are better executed too.

So... Five of the top six DOM 2016 will be Disney, no?

1) Rogue One*
2) Finding Dory

3) Civil War

4) Jungle Book

5) Deadpool

6) Zootopia

*Rogue One may not finish #1 but it'll certainly finish above BatSupes to claim a spot in the Top 6.

Hell, could be 6 of the Top 7 if Moana breaks out as well. Though, that one seemed a better summer release than fall.

Likely. And there is a good chance that Disney gets the top 5 WW spots as well.
