I like both for veryyyyy different reasons. One because he is actually a great director and the other because he makes absurd hilarious shit and is the king of d-porn.

The scorn ID4 Resurgence is getting is hilarious.

 

It has a way better script, action and story than the first but now people are so hard to please, yeezus.

 

I guess Big Willie really managed to get the first ID4 a free pass for a lot of people because ID4 was way dumber than Resurgence.

There's a segment of the X-men fanbase who are dissatisfied and want a more colorful and fun-filled X-men movies.

 

Deadpool opens up an opportunity to introduce audiences to superhuman aliens (like GotG) and imaginative group battles (like Civil War). 

 

The whole dark satire thing centered around Magneto/Wolverine/Mystique is played out. Fox needs some radical changes to revitalize the franchise a la Furious 8 and JW.

Jason Bourne was good. Fits in on the lower side of the Damon Bourne sliding scale but if it's the weakest it's not by much.
