Looks to be an overall Solid weekend (for only 1 wide release) before the storm of Star Wars swings things into hyperdrive.

 

That La La Land PTA is going to be other-wordly but as we have seen in the past it doesn't always translate once something goes wide - I have high (very high) hopes but don't want to get dashed once it goes into full release.

After seeing the movie, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if La La Land goes past $150M.

La La Land isn't slow-moving at all. In fact, it's very engaging and doesn't require the most antsy moviegoers to be patient.
