While, All Things Villeneuve should be an option (as well as all things Chazelle, because Whiplash and La La Land are both flawless movies), of the options I picked

Star Wars

Indiana Jones

Pixar/Walt Disney

where's mad max, lord of the rings, x-men, fant4stic, etc

Lord of the Rings is on there.

I was tempted to add X-men.

Didn't consider Mad Max. (Tele, don't ban me!)

Not sure if serious about Fantastic Four.

fandom is partly a strange word for the chosen description as I understand them, but great idea :wiggle:

All things... IMHO a fan has not to like 'all things...' to be a fan = excluded choices in my POV.

Bond, Bourne, MI,... all in one? Than maybe 'other CBM' and other 'Sci-Fi' too?

In addition to what I picked:

Mad Max is missing in my POV too

I am a Sci-Fi fan in a way (TV-series with films - TV-films mostly)

Firefly/Serenity, Farscape/Peacekeeper Wars, for both including the comics

Spacecenter Babylon 5 (here including the books), Raumpatrouille Orion.

Plus naval / Napoleonic 18th/19th century stuff (Sharpe, Hornblower = both had cinema films and TV-movie series, plus all the books = love them), all connected to Sherlock Holmes, and Alexandre Dumas based too.

Kurosawa  Hitchcock, I like a lot of Luc Bessons films (not saying films from them are great films in total, money earners or... all around).

If you could call me a fan, in the milder fandom way it would be a book series: Honor Harrington (also lots of flaws)

Plus I think I've seen all available on discs Macbeth versions, including a rather strange AUS one, I am definitively a Macbeth nut.

I usually tried out all films based on Jack London's or John Steinbeck's books.

Not a fan, but what is with Tarantino, see Pulp Fiction / Kill Bill & Rodriguez...? Sin City, the Mariachi world (I liked part 1 and 2), is there a name for the kind of films those two do?

I know, a lot of critique, but I think Zack Snyder has more fans than they dare to say.

Ridley Scott also

I could also imagine that there are fans of Humphrey Bogart films, no idea how to call those

What's with film noir and/or classic films?

Not meant as critique, more as maybe adding this or that genre?
