I'm thinking R1 will come in just under 500K. Something around $490K.

Already updated. :)

5 (5) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Walt Disney $587,074 -23% 2,603 $226   $514,338,899 41

(Last year, TFA had a 15.8% drop)

((Before people ask: $538,368,341 if it follows TFA exactly))

Woa how did I miss that?? Thanks!

And again, I get it all wrong. At least for the better this time. Yet, as you said, it's a steeper drop than that of TFA.

Remember when @CJohn said Lionsgate was stupid and trying to sabotage La La Land by not expanding it into 3,000+ theaters as soon as possible? Well...

It certainly took long enough, but it finally got there. I just looked at  the LLL theater counts since it opened, the very definition of a slow roll out.

Dec. 9 - 5 theaters
Dec 16 - 200 theaters
Dec. 25 - 734 theaters
Dec. 30- 750 theaters
Jan. 6 - 1,515 theaters
Jan. 13- 1,848 theaters
Jan. 20- 1,865 theaters
Jan. 27- 3,136 theaters

Extrapolating that, it'll break the theatre count record by Valentines Day! :ohmyzod:
