Only one of the big nominees this year I haven't seen is Moonlight. Never got around to it and it never quite grabbed me enough to drop something and go for it when it was in the big theater near me.

Neither have I, tbh. In fact, I think it's one the few Best Picture nominees since 1990 that I've never seen, which is like maybe 5 or 6 of them.

i've seen the reader. act one is about a teenage boy's sexual awakening. act two is a courtroom drama about the holocaust. act three is ralph fiennes teaching elderly kate winslet how to read in prison. the movie is in fact, all of the oscar things. no way it wouldn't be nominated.
