So conservatively we can assume 1bil OS - china? Sounds like Titanic is easily in play.

I think Passing Titanic with 1B OS-China is disfavored, but passing with the more realistic 1-1.07B OS- China is very slightly favored.

I don't see how it'll pass Titanic at this time tbh, I think China is at 320ish, Dom 671, and OS 1050  Total - 2.05B. I think China's opening is hugely exaggerated based on forum "predictions".  Be realistic and be happy with a 2B marvel film.

Japan has no affinity for Western comics and super-heroes because they already have a very established manga culture. Most CBMs outside Spider-Man and team-up films barely make $10 million in Japan. IW making $30+ million is a good performance relatively speaking compared to the average CBM.

IW is now the biggest movie of all time in malaysia. And, malaysian got 2 extra extended holiday, from Thursday to Sunday due to the election.

With no new blockbuster this week, IW will continue to widen up its gap as the biggest grosser of all time. The extra 2 days holiday really help IW's leg now....
