lmao the multiplex I frequent won't even be getting My Little Pony this weekend (it's a 20-screen that is currently has half the theaters closed because they're renovating to recliners on one side). Obviously they're limited in what they can show but still, it must be tracking pretty bad if they had the option to not show it and chose it.

I have no clue why my theater is keeping It on two screens. If any holdover kept two screens, it should have been AM. Incentive by WB?

My Little Pony is probably gonna quickly fall-off after this weekend. Shades of the Powerpuff Girls movie from the early 2000s.

Apart of IT, obviously, Horror movies are extremely walkup movies, especially the ones that appeals to teens girls, that usually go with group of friends, the reason why Annabelle: Creation over-performed was because groups of teen girls showed up in droves, I can see the same happening with HDD.

Reviews are what really sealed the deal for this year's horror breakouts. Let's see what kind Happy Death Day gets (the movie actually looks kinda fun so I might check it out myself if it gets decent notices).
