It's very easy to say that now, though. That's all I'm saying.

I guess I get it since at some point August is pretty crowded as well, but I stood by that moving it to right before a massive bloodbath is not a really good move (Maybe they got really confident from the early screenings and whatnot? It does have a good critical reception).

WHAT IS THIS INSANITY??!

:ohmyzod::ohmyzod::ohmyzod::ohmyzod::ohmyzod::ohmyzod:

Reviews and RT clearly matters, only fan boys would deny that fact, if anyone ever work at the studio, the marketing team would pay close attention to RT score when making their decision.

If RT score for BvS were good, it will reach higher gross in term of opening or total, $180m opening and legs to at least $400m

So The Mummy did more OS on OW than WW did.:rofl:

It would have been completely terrible for Tom Cruise if his summer blockbuster's OS OW at the least didn't beat the OS OW of a film starring... Gal Gadot.

Also, WW pleasantly surprised in a lot of foreign markets where the film wasn't even promoted that much, India being one prominent example I found out about (though that's WB's fault too for not realizing they had such a big breakout on their hands). If WW had been marketed in international regions the way Sony markets Spider-Man movies in Asia then there's no telling how much bigger the OS ## would have been.

Still, less marketing means more profits for Wondy. Dunno if I can say the same for The Mummy.

Wonder Woman is going to continue to build on that lead with these summer weekdays & even better holds on weekend, especially with Fathers Day next weekend.

Iron Man did 316 ...

Wonder Woman is going to be the highest grossing DCEU movie in North America with 335-350

Temporality.
