(..and that 71% drop is on MD weekend when Sun was inflated and dropped only 7%)

Still crossed 2x multiplier despite those horrid drops, cause the hidden story is summer weekdays.

Won't match GODZILLA's 2.15x. Needed 77+ for that.

Still better legs than BvS :P (i hope this wont start anything terrible...)

WW almost won Sunday. I can see it winning Tuesday as it will have a bigger jump than Cars 3. Cars 3 should win Monday I think.

$360-370m is very likely for WW. OS I imagine it'll finish with a similar total for a $720-740m WW opening which would only be slightly less than Deadpool and SS which opened much bigger in many markets.

Huh. When did Dan Garris start up Box Office Report again?

I remember on the original forums for it I made a prediction in 2005 or so that the first Transformers would do 250m or more. I got ridiculed for it.

Almost like my 200M+ prediction for Valerian :)

Deadpool didn't have China. Would have made a little over 800m with it.

It's on 297+ OS after a 39.5 weekend.

So will do 370+ in current markets.

Remaining markets (Spain and Japan and a couple smaller ones) should take it to 380+.

Can't see below 750 WW.

Also, for 360 dom it needs to add same amount that MOS added after it's 41.28 2nd weekend.

It surely won't have that bad legs relative to what it's doing so far.

375 dom and 385 os for 760 ww is very reasonable imo.

Of course Avengers was more impressive than what WW is doing but it was based off a gimmick so it's not really a fair comparison.  the first Iron Man movie is more of a fair comparison.

Absolutely correct. If anything, Wonder Woman is even more impressive box-office-wise than Iron Man ever was.

Even though, in my opinion, Iron Man is a far superior film to Wonder Woman, it's still awesome to see WW doing so exceptionally well since I really want to have the MCU & DCEU push each other. Competition is always a good thing.

As long as the reported prod budget of 60 is accurate, this one will make a profit even if it disappointed somewhat.

(The marketing budget won't be close to that of the big movies we see...probably 80+ I guess)

Theater report for today:

Cars 3's 2D showings are performing extremely well ranging from 40-70 tickets, but 3D showings have been flopping hard.

WW is selling about 20-30 tickets per show.

47 Meters is holding well. Pretty sure all of the showings had 15-20 tickets sold.

All Eyez on Me fucking collapsed hard. Not a single showing has sold more than 5 tickets, including the one starting now.

Rough Night is continuing to perform like shit, but it's doing better than All Eyez now.

The Mummy's 2D showings are selling about 15 tickets while 3D has been selling less than 5 tickets. Still don't know why this kept 2 screens, but it'll be down to one in a couple of days.

Captain Underpants is down quite a lot from last week. No showings have sold more than 10 tickets or so.

POTC is performing decently with about 10-15 tickets per show.

Megan Leavey has been selling about 15 tickets per show, but it's sharing a screen with WW and only has 2 showings.

My theater is counting the hours until they can get rid of ICAN. I'm not even sure it's sold 30 tickets total since Friday.

Superhero actors are paid some of the lowest in Hollywood for how much cash those movies make, why did you think most of the Avengers cast had to nearly go on strike for to increase their salary for Avengers 2? They were getting robbed in cash, and it took RDJ to stick up for them!
