In hindsight I think this being the sixth Spider-Man movie regardless of how good, audience had some fatigue, but nevertheless a $300M/$800M performance is fantastic.

Word of mouth may be ”fine”, but it clearly wasn't good enough to overcome what many may perceive as "What? Another Spidey reboot?” At the end of the day, the film is a big commercial hit, but doesn’t seem like the giant that we all expected (yes, even me).
