For Dunkirk, I am going to go with a 15% Saturday jump (from true Friday), and a 15% Sunday decline. (conservative but still fair = 10% Sat, -20% Sun)

**Inception dropped 47% on Monday....Private Ryan dropped 46% on Monday**

INCEPTION

midnight - 3.0 million

true Friday - 18,782,199

+16.02% Saturday - 21,791,608

-11.8% Sunday 19,211,380

SAVING PRIVATE RYAN

Date Rank Gross % Change Theaters Per Theater Total Gross Days
1998/07/24 1 $9,705,000   2,463 $3,940   $9,705,000 1
1998/07/25 1 $11,170,000 +15% 2,453 $4,554   $20,875,000 2
1998/07/26 1 $9,613,000 -14% 2,453 $3,919   $30,576,104

Yes just was thinking about that.

That's it. Am out of likes and it does not give an 'out of likes' notification.

Just gives you the illusion of liking.

Valerian is already profitable from distributor sales. Luc Besson isn't losing anything but his dignity.

Hmmm I don't think so.

It was financed by many people, but there's no way distributor sales made anywhere near $180m.

There was a report that he already made 180m. He did the same thing Loinsgate does sells it other distributors. He won't get a sequel made or another big film made because distributors won't take the risk

I think we should really consider that dunkirk could pass inception's OW

then in term of OW, it would be dunkirk> inception> interstellar

their RT rating are 8.6> 8.1> 7 respectively,

Nolan will show how tomato Law work.....

Yeh he gathered the $180m to spend on the film.

He didn't make $180m profit.

Then the distributors all have their own marketing costs for each different market.

Why? what happened?

I probably won't have the time. I'm watching my footy team play tomorrow and next weekend I'm off skiing for 2 weeks. Apes opens here this week so I'll see it on Thursday or Friday.

He is fine but his distributors are not. They will most likely take a lost.

Does Squaremaster still post in here?

He's the biggest Christopher Nolan fan in the forums. I can still remember his epic friendly debates with BKB a couple years ago.
